Fun Fact!
Ben Hammersley, a journalist at The Guardian coined the word “podcast”. In his feature for the media called “Audible revolution”, he simply combined two words – “iPod” and “broadcast” – together and came up with the term we all use nowadays.
The journalist also suggested to name it “Guerilla media” but the idea did not catch on.
